My gut feeling is that you may need to go into the app and disable it (there should be a way of doing this) so that it will clear unwanted data before it can be uninstalled.

OMG Thats happened to my friend:/ she seriously aint happy with her android aswell.. well she took her to where she bought it from (vodafone) and they fixed it and if you want to uninstall..
go to settings
Click on Mange and Unistall Apps
Look for that app and click uninstall
IF THAT DOESNT WORK
Go on the Android Market and look for your App and click uninstall.
Hope this helped :)

Settings >Click on Mange app >
Look for that app and click uninstall
